The EDG is EnterpriseSG's grant that helps Singapore SMEs fund projects to upgrade, innovate and grow — including business consulting. Qualifying engagements can be part-funded up to 50%, and we handle the grant advisory and application end to end.
The Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) is administered by Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG). It supports Singapore companies taking on projects that strengthen their core capabilities, innovate, or grow into new markets. Engaging a management consultant to build and implement a proper business strategy is one of the projects it can fund.
For eligible SMEs, the grant can cover up to 50% of qualifying project costs. The support level and scope are assessed by EnterpriseSG on each application — we scope the project so it maps cleanly to what the grant is designed to fund, then advise, document and submit it for you.
Support is up to 50% of qualifying costs for SMEs. What actually gets approved depends on the project scope and your company's profile, and is confirmed by EnterpriseSG per application. We are deliberate about only positioning what the grant genuinely supports — no inflated promises.
Funding levels and eligibility are set by EnterpriseSG and assessed per application. We confirm your specific position in the free diagnosis.
The EDG is structured around three pillars. Our work sits mainly in the first — building the strategy and capabilities a business needs to sustain and scale.
Business strategy development, financial management, human capital and process — the groundwork that makes a business stable and ready to grow. This is where most of our engagements sit.
Projects that raise productivity or bring new processes, products or automation into the business, so the same team can do more without the strain.
Support for taking the business into new markets and channels, so growth isn't capped by a single customer base.
You focus on the business. We scope, document and submit — and ~100% of the applications we've submitted for SME clients have been approved.
We review where the business stands, pinpoint priorities, and tell you honestly whether the EDG is a fit.
We shape a Business Strategy Development roadmap that maps cleanly to what the grant is designed to fund.
We prepare the application and supporting documentation — the paperwork you'd otherwise navigate alone.
We submit to EnterpriseSG, then deliver the work and stay with you for two years after the project.
What Singapore business owners ask us most about the grant, before the free diagnosis.
Tell us where your business stands and we'll pinpoint the priorities — and whether EnterpriseSG's EDG can help fund the work.
